In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Al-Fatihah adalah intisari permohonan hamba kepada Tuhannya. Surat ini memuji Allah sebagai Tuhan semesta alam, Maha Pengasih, dan Pemilik Hari Pembalasan, menegaskan hanya Dia yang disembah dan dimintai pertolongan. Puncaknya adalah doa memohon petunjuk jalan yang lurus, jalan orang-orang yang diberkahi, bukan yang sesat.
الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
