{And he was on the highest horizon} the horizon of the sun, meaning when it rose in the form in which he was created. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw him, and he was in Hira’, filling the horizon to the west, so he fell unconscious. He had asked him to show him himself in the form in which he was created, so he made an appointment with him in Hira’, and Gabriel came down to him in Surat Al-Adamīn.
