THAAHAA — Ayat 10
When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance."
Tafsir
{If he saw a fire, he said to his family} to his wife {Stay here}, and that was during his journey from Madyan seeking Egypt {Indeed, I have perceived} I saw {a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a torch from it} a flame on the head of a wick or a stick {or find at the fire a guide} that is, a guide to show me the way. But he missed it because of the darkness of the night, and he said perhaps because he was not certain of fulfilling the promise.
