SABA' (KAUM SABA') — Ayat 12

12

And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.

Tafsir

{And} We subjected {to Solomon the wind} and the reading of the nominative is with the estimation of subjecting {its morning} its journey from morning meaning morning until noon {is a month and its evening} its journey from noon until sunset {is a month} meaning its journey {and We made flow} We melted {for him a spring of molten copper} meaning copper, so it flowed for three days and nights like the flow of water, and people work until today from what Solomon was given {and among the jinn were those who worked before him by permission} by the command of {his Lord. And whoever among them deviates} turns away {from Our command} to him by obeying him {We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze} the Fire in the Hereafter, and it was said in this world that an angel will strike him with a whip from it, a strike that will burn him.
