Surah ke-50 · 45 ayat

QAAF — Ayat 19

وَجَاءتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ

And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.

Tafsir

{And the stupor of death came} overwhelmed him and seized him {in truth} of the matter of the Hereafter, even denying it clearly, which is the severity itself {that} meaning death {from which you were avoiding} fleeing and being terrified.
