MARYAM — Ayat 17
17
فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
Tafsir
{So she took a veil to conceal herself from them} She sent a curtain behind which she could comb her hair or her clothes or wash herself from her menstruation. {Then We sent to her Our Spirit} Gabriel {and he appeared to her} by putting on her clothes {as a well-proportioned man} perfectly formed.
