LUQMAN — Ayat 10
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا وَأَلْقَى فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ
He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind.
Tafsir
{He created the heavens without pillars that you can see} meaning pillars are the plural of pillar, which is a column, and it is true that there are no pillars at all. {And He cast into the earth firm mountains} high mountains so that it would not shake or move with you. {And He dispersed therein every kind of creature. And We sent down} in this is a shift from the third person {water from the sky, and We caused to grow therein every kind of noble plant} good kind.
