FUSHSHILAT (YANG DIJELASKAN) — Ayat 16

16

So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped.

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

Tafsir

{So We sent upon them a howling wind} cold and loud without rain {during days of misfortune} with the letter "ha" pronounced with a kasra or with a sukoon, ominous for them {to make them taste the punishment of disgrace} humiliation {in this worldly life, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing} severe {and they will not be helped} by preventing it from reaching them.
