ATH THAARIQ (YANG DATANG DI MALAM HARI) — Ayat 4
4
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
Tafsir
{Indeed, every soul has a protector over it} by softening “ma” so it is an addition, and “in” is softened from the heavy one and its subject is deleted, meaning that “it” and “lam” are distinguishing features, and by emphasizing it, “in” is a negative, and “lama” means “except,” and the protector from the angels protects its deeds of good and evil.
