AT TAKAATSUR (BERMEGAH-MEGAHAN) — Ayat 1

أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

{It has distracted you} It has kept you busy from obeying God {is multiplication} Boasting of money, children and men.
