ASY SYUURA (MUSYAWARAT) — Ayat 5
The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Tafsir
{The heavens almost burst} with the letter ta’ and the letter ya’ {from above them}, meaning each one bursts above the one below it, as a warning from God Almighty. {And the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord}, meaning clothed in praise. {And they ask forgiveness for those on the earth} of the believers. {Unquestionably, it is God who is the Forgiving} of His friends, {the Most Merciful} to them.
