AR-RUUM (BANGSA RUMAWI) — Ayat 6
6
وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
[It is] the promise of Allah . Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
Tafsir
{The promise of God} is a verbal noun replacing the verb with its action. The original is that God promised them victory. {God does not fail in His promise} to Him. {But most of the people} meaning the infidels of Mecca {do not know} His promise of their victory.
