AR-RUUM (BANGSA RUMAWI) — Ayat 3
3
فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ
In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome.
Tafsir
{In the lowest land} meaning the closest land of the Romans to Persia in the Arabian Peninsula, where the two armies met and the first to invade was the Persians {and they} meaning the Romans {after their defeat} the infinitive was added to the object: meaning the Persians’ defeat of them {will defeat} Persia.
