AL MUNAAFIQUUN (ORANG-ORANG MUNAFIK) — Ayat 8
They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
Tafsir
They say, “If we return” – meaning from the expedition of Banu al-Mustaliq – “to Medina, the more honorable” – meaning themselves – “will surely expel from it the more despicable” – meaning the believers – “but to Allah belongs the honor” – meaning victory – “and to His Messenger and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know” that.
