Surah ke-40 · 85 ayat

AL MU'MIN (ORANG YANG BERIMAN) — Ayat 7

7

الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ

Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Tafsir

{Those who bear the Throne} is a subject {and those around it} is an apodosis {glorify} is its predicate {with praise of their Lord} wearing praise, that is, they say: Glory be to God and praise be to Him {and believe in Him} the Most High with their insights, that is, they believe in His oneness {and ask forgiveness for those who have believed} they say: {Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge} that is, Your mercy encompasses all things and Your knowledge encompasses all things {so forgive those who have repented} from polytheism {and followed Your way} the religion of Islam {and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire} the Fire.
