AL JUMU'AH (HARI JUM'AT) — Ayat 3
وَآخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Tafsir
{And others} is in apposition to the illiterate, meaning those who are present {among them} and those who will come after them {because} they have not {caught up with them} in precedence and superiority {and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise} in His kingdom and creation, and they are the followers. Restricting it to them is sufficient to explain the superiority of the Companions among whom the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sent over those other than them among those to whom he was sent and who believed in him from all of mankind and jinn until the Day of Resurrection, because every generation is better than the one that follows it.
