Surah ke-59 · 24 ayat
AL HASYR (PENGUSIRAN) — Ayat 17
17
فَكَانَ عَاقِبَتَهُمَا أَنَّهُمَا فِي النَّارِ خَالِدَيْنِ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ جَزَاء الظَّالِمِينَ
So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers.
Tafsir
{So the consequence of them both} meaning the one who led astray and the one who was led astray. The subject of “was” is read in the nominative case. {That they will both be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. That is the reward of the wrongdoers} meaning the disbelievers.
