Surah ke-22 · 78 ayat

AL HAJJ (HAJI) — Ayat 18

18

Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

Tafsir

{Have you not seen} learn {that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the moving creatures} that is, they submit to Him as desired {and many of the people} and they are the believers in addition to the submission in prostration in prayer {and many upon whom the punishment is justified} and they are the disbelievers because they refused the prostration that is conditional upon faith {and he whom Allah humiliates} He splits him {there is for him no one to honor him} who is happy {indeed, Allah does what He wills} of humiliation and honor.
