AL HAJJ (HAJI) — Ayat 13

يَدْعُو لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ

He invokes one whose harm is closer than his benefit - how wretched the protector and how wretched the associate.

{He calls for him} the lam is redundant {whose harm} through his worship {is nearer to his benefit} if he benefits through his imagination {what an evil protector} he is, meaning a helper {and what an evil companion} he is. And after mentioning the doubter of loss, he mentions the believers of reward in.
