AL FIIL (GAJAH) — Ayat 5

Tafsir

{So He made them like eaten straw} like the leaves of a crop that have been eaten, trampled upon, and destroyed by animals. That is, God Almighty destroyed them, each one with his stone on which his name was written, and it was larger than a lentil and smaller than a chickpea. It would drown an egg, a man, and an elephant and reach the ground. This was the year the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was born.
