AL BAQARAH (SAPI BETINA) — Ayat 34
34
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
Tafsir
And I remember as we said to the angels bow down to Adam prostration of greeting bow worshiped except Satan is the father of the jinn was among the angels father refrained from prostrate and arrogant grow up with him and said: I am better than him and was one of the disbelievers in the knowledge of God.
