AL A'RAAF — Ayat 83

فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who remained [with the evildoers].

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

فَأَنجَيْنَـهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَـبِرِينَ - وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَّطَرًا فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

83. Then We saved him and his family, except his wife; she was of the Ghabirin (those who lagged behind). 84. And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the criminals. Allah said in another Ayah,
