AL ANBIYAA' — Ayat 64

64

فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ

So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

فَرَجَعُواْ إِلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُواْ إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّـلِمُونَ - ثُمَّ نُكِسُواْ عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـؤُلاءِ يَنطِقُونَ - قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لاَ يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ - أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ

64. So they turned to themselves and said: ”Verily, you are the wrongdoers.'' 65. Then they turned to themselves: ”Indeed you know well that these speak not!'' 66. He said: ”Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you nor harm you'' 67. ”Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah!
